Eligibility

Postgraduate Degree, Experience and Publication Pathway

Education

Postgraduate degree in Public Health, Epidemiology, Statistics, Environmental Sciences, Population Sciences, Demography, Health Economics, HTA or Pharmacy M.Pharm. Qualification must be from a recognized Board, University or Institution as applicable.

Experience

Three years of post-postgraduate experience in research or projects. Experience is counted after completion of the minimum essential qualification and should be in the relevant field or project area.

Academic record

At least one research paper in an SCIE journal.

MD MS MDS or Phd Pathway

MD, MS, MDS or PhD in Public Health, Statistics, Epidemiology or Health Sciences. Qualification must be from a recognized Board, University or Institution as applicable.

Project-Specific Desirable Qualifications

These are project-specific preferences and do not replace the ICMR minimum essential qualifications.

Computer knowledge

High-level expertise in conducting data analysis using R Programming, SPSS and STATA.(Preferred)

Academic record

Publications in Systematic Reviews and Meta-analysis as first or corresponding author in SCIE Q1 journals.(Preferred)

Age limit

Maximum age 40 years.

Age as of 20 October 2026.
