Eligibility
Common Senior Resident Eligibility
Common medical qualification, registration, age, and nationality requirements.
Education
Medical qualification included in the First or Second Schedule or Part II of the Third Schedule to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956, with Section 13(3) conditions applicable where required
Age
Maximum age 45 years Upper age relaxation is 5 years for SC/ST candidates and 3 years for OBC candidates.
Nationality
Indian citizen
Registration
Registration with the Central or State Medical Council
Medical fitness
Must be found medically fit by the competent Medical Board Appointment is subject to medical fitness from the designated Medical Authority of the Institute.
Postgraduate Specialty
Broad specialty and super specialty qualification pathways.
Alternative 1 of 2. For Broad Speciality, MD, MS, or DNB in the specialty concerned or equivalent Broad specialty pathway.
Alternative 2 of 2. For Super Speciality, MD, MS, or DNB in the related broad specialty, or DM, M.Ch., or DNB in the concerned super specialty Super specialty pathway.
Salary & benefits
₹67,700
per month
Minimum pay in Pay Matrix Level 11 plus NPA for medical personnel as per 7th CPC recommendations.
