- Age
- Young candidates must be 21 to 45 years old at appointment and may continue up to age 60. Retired bank employees may enter up to age 64 and may continue up to age 65.
- Experience
- Retired bank employee applicants must have at least 3 years of rural banking experience. Young candidates have no minimum experience period specified.
Eligibility
Retired Bank Employee Pathway
Experience
At least 3 years of rural banking experience.
Age
Maximum entry age is 64 years. Maximum age for continuation as BC Supervisor is 65 years.
Exam qualification
For retired clerks and equivalent employees of Central Bank of India, JAIIB must have been passed and the applicant must have a good track record.
Employment status
Retired Officer, including voluntarily retired Officer, of any PSU Bank, Regional Rural Bank, Private Bank or Co-operative Bank up to the rank of Senior Manager or equivalent. Retired clerks and equivalent employees of Central Bank of India may also qualify under the separate JAIIB condition.
Young Candidate Pathway
Education
- Graduate.
- M.Sc. (IT), B.E. (IT), MCA or MBA. These qualifications are given preference.(Preferred)
Age
- Minimum age at appointment is 21 years.
- Maximum age at appointment is 45 years. Maximum age for continuation as BC Supervisor is 60 years.
Computer knowledge
Computer knowledge including MS Office, email and Internet.
Common Geographic and Operational Requirements
Language
Proficiency in the local language and dialect, including reading and writing.
Other
- Candidate should ordinarily be from the same district where assigned, or from an adjoining district if suitable candidates are not available, and candidates from other states will not be selected.
- Applicant should be willing and able to visit villages in the district periodically for supervision and other assigned activities.
- Candidate should have accommodation near the nodal branch and must not reside outside the district for which selection is made.
Salary & benefits
Business Correspondent Supervisor
₹15,000
per month
Category A fixed component.
₹4,000 - ₹10,000
per month
Category A variable component depends on the monthly scoring slab and ranges from Rs. 4,000 to Rs. 10,000.
₹12,000
per month
Category B fixed component.
₹2,000 - ₹8,000
per month
Category B variable component depends on the monthly scoring slab and ranges from Rs. 2,000 to Rs. 8,000.

Eligibility notes
Eligibility differs for retired bank employees and young candidates. Candidates should ordinarily be selected from the same district where they will work, should be proficient in the local language and dialect in reading and writing, should be willing to visit villages periodically, and should have accommodation near the nodal branch within the selected district.

Important notes
