Joint Director (Law)

₹1,23,100 - ₹2,15,900

Merely meeting the minimum qualifications or eligibility criteria does not guarantee consideration or an interview. DERC may apply more stringent criteria for shortlisting candidates for a skill test or interview.

Eligibility notes

All three posts require a recognized Law Degree and prescribed regular service in an analogous post or specified pay levels. The maximum age for deputationists is 56 years, determined as on the last date for submission of application.

Application instructions

Candidates must apply online through the DERC openings portal, complete every field, and upload documents supporting essential qualifications together with the last three months' salary slips, ITR statements and Form 16. Employees serving in Government, PSU, Autonomous, Statutory, Local, Judicial bodies or Corporations must submit the prescribed undertaking. A No Objection Certificate with vigilance clearance must be produced at interview if it was not uploaded earlier.

Deputation is initially for up to three years and may be extended or renewed up to a maximum of six years at the Commission's discretion, subject to performance appraisal and concurrence of the parent department.
