Salary & benefits
Full eligibility condition
No salary, remuneration or wages are payable except honorarium fixed by the National Legal Services Authority or Assam State Legal Services Authority from time to time as per rules.

Selection summary
The Selection Committee will shortlist candidates for interview and select Para Legal Volunteers. Its decisions regarding shortlisting, selection and objections to selection will be final and binding.
Eligibility notes
Applicants must be citizens of India, local residents of Kokrajhar District, have attained the age of majority and have passed at least Matriculation. Para Legal Volunteers may be selected from the groups identified under the NALSA Para Legal Volunteer Scheme.
Application instructions
Applications in Standard Form must be accompanied by two recent passport-size photographs and self-attested copies of documents relating to age, residence, educational qualification, caste and past work experience, if any. The completed application must be submitted to the office of the District Legal Services Authority, Kokrajhar, on or before 15 October 2026 up to 5:00 P.M. Applications may also be sent by post or courier, but the Authority will not be responsible for postal or courier delay.
