Merit scoring
For positions other than MLHP, total marks are 100. Ninety marks are based on the qualifying examination and up to ten marks are awarded for age at 0.5 mark per completed year from age 18, subject to a maximum of ten marks.

The final selection list is prepared from the finalized merit list while following Rule of Reservation, Presidential Orders and SC-ST reservation rules.
