Initial screening and verification of testimonials will be carried out between 09:00 and 11:30 hours on 14 October 2026. Candidates will be screened on qualification and related requirements.
Candidates who are screened in will face interview on the same day at DIHAR, Leh.
Report by 08:45 hours on 14 October 2026 for walk-in selection. Bring original Date of Birth and essential qualification certificates with self-attested copies, neatly typed bio-data, Aadhaar Card copy, applicable RA experience documents and all required copies. Candidates employed in specified Government, PSU, Central University or Autonomous Body organizations must also bring a No Objection Certificate.

Candidates will first undergo screening and verification of testimonials between 09:00 and 11:30 hours on 14 October 2026. Candidates screened in on the basis of qualification and other requirements will face interview on the same day.
JRF and RA candidates must satisfy the post-specific qualification and experience requirements. Upper age limits are 28 years for JRF and 35 years for RA as on 14 October 2026, with relaxation for SC, ST and OBC candidates as per Government of India orders. Applicants must be medically fit and willing to work in high-altitude environmental conditions.
Candidates should report by 08:45 hours on 14 October 2026 for the walk-in selection at Defence Institute of High-Altitude Research, Leh, Union Territory of Ladakh. Candidates must bring the prescribed original certificates, self-attested copies, neatly typed bio-data, Aadhaar Card copy and applicable supporting documents. Candidates employed in Government, Public Sector Undertakings, Central Universities or Autonomous Bodies must bring a No Objection Certificate from their present employer.
The fellowship or associateship does not confer any right to absorption in DRDO. No TA or DA will be paid for attending the interview or joining if selected. The number of seats may increase or decrease without prior notice. Grant of fellowship or associateship is at the discretion of DIHAR.
