    Recruitment is based on competitive examination under Schedule-IV, Part-G of the R&P Rules, 2015, read with the cited amendments. Final merit is based on written-test marks.

Selection summary

Librarian selection is through a competitive written examination, with final merit based on written-test marks. Group-D posts use 1:3 shortlisting for evaluation and document verification, with 85 marks for the prescribed educational qualification and 15 marks for evaluation criteria.

Eligibility notes

Applicants must be Indian nationals and satisfy the educational qualifications, category, age and experience requirements under the R&P Rules, 2015. Age is reckoned as on 01.01.2026. Required qualifications and experience are reckoned as on the date of submission of the online application.
