Postgraduate degree in Basic Sciences with a three-year bachelor's degree and two-year master's degree, together with NET qualification NET qualification is mandatory for this pathway.
Experience
Two years of research experience Required specifically for candidates following the Basic Sciences postgraduate pathway.
Salary & benefits
₹37,000
per month
HRA is payable in addition to the stated fellowship. The notification does not state the HRA rate.

Candidates with a postgraduate degree in Basic Sciences based on a three-year bachelor's degree and two-year master's degree must additionally possess NET qualification and two years of research experience. Qualifications and requisite experience are to be possessed as on the closing date for submission of the application.

Candidates currently employed must submit a valid NOC from their current employer or they will not be considered for interview.
Important notes
The appointment is purely temporary and contractual and is co-terminus with the project. The selected candidate will initially be recruited up to 31 March 2027 and may be extended according to rules until project termination, subject to satisfactory performance reviews every six months. The selected candidate should join immediately or at the earliest. There is no provision for absorption or re-employment in ICAR-CIRCOT or ICAR after completion of the time-bound project.
