Experience

Minimum 10 years teaching, research or industrial experience, including at least 4 years at Associate Professor level in IITs, IIMs, IISc Bangalore, IISERs or equivalent institutions of comparable standards. Experience gained while pursuing Ph.D. will not be counted. The candidate should have high research, training and consulting credentials.

Academic record

  • First Class or equivalent grade in Master's Degree with a consistently good academic record. A 5% relaxation applies for SC/ST/DAP and a 3% relaxation for OBC in Master's and Bachelor's degree requirements.
  • High Second Class or equivalent in Bachelor's Degree. (minimum 55%) A 5% relaxation applies for SC/ST/DAP and a 3% relaxation for OBC in Master's and Bachelor's degree requirements.

    The Institute will scrutinize and shortlist applications depending on the Academic Areas and Positions desired to be filled. The Screening Committee may devise relevant shortlisting criteria.

    Shortlisted candidates will be called for a Seminar as recommended by the Screening Committee.

    Interview

    Shortlisted candidates will be called for Interview. The decision of the Screening Committee is final.

Selection summary

Applications will be scrutinized and shortlisted by the Institute. Shortlisted candidates will be called for a Seminar and Interview as recommended by the Screening Committee. Mere fulfilment of minimum eligibility criteria does not guarantee an interview call.

Eligibility notes

All qualifications must be from a UGC recognized University or Deemed University, or an AICTE approved autonomous institution wherever applicable. Courses offered by autonomous institutions should be equivalent to the relevant course approved or recognized by the Association of Indian Universities. Part-time experience will not count as requisite experience for shortlisting. The Institute may relax age, qualification and experience requirements in exceptional and deserving cases.
