Overview
International Institute for Population Sciences invites candidates for one Research Officer position on a contract basis for an institute-funded PMJAY-related research project.

- Experience analysing large-scale demographic and health survey data such as NSS and NFHS is essential. Health or social sector experience, primary data collection and qualitative data analysis are desirable.

Essential Qualifications
The selection committee may relax educational qualification or work-experience requirements in deserving cases.
Education
Master's degree in Population Studies, Demography, Public Health, Economics, Statistics or allied subjects
Experience
Experience analysing large-scale demographic and health survey data such as NSS and NFHS
Language
Excellent oral and written communication skills in English
Computer knowledge
Proficiency in STATA, R and MS Office Suite, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint
Desirable Qualifications and Experience
Experience
- Track record of working in the health or social sector(Desirable)
- Experience in primary data collection and qualitative data analysis(Desirable)
Computer knowledge
Experience handling statistical and demographic software packages(Desirable)
Academic record
At least one research publication in a peer-reviewed journal(Desirable)
