At least 2 years of experience working as a Junior Research Fellow Listed in the advertisement as Additional Qualification.

Educational Pathway

Either listed educational pathway is acceptable.

  • Alternative 1 of 2. Post Graduate Degree in Basic Science

  • Alternative 2 of 2. Graduate or Post Graduate Degree in a Professional Course

National Selection Process

The candidate must have been selected through one of the stated national examination routes.

  • Alternative 1 of 2. Selected through CSIR-UGC NET, including lectureship or Assistant Professorship, or GATE

  • Alternative 2 of 2. Selected through a national-level examination conducted by Central Government departments, agencies or institutions such as DST, DBT, DAE, DOS, DRDO, MHRD, ICAR, ICMR, IIT, IISc or IISER

Desirable

Familiarity with scalar extensions of the Standard Model and technical expertise in packages used in Particle Physics research(Desirable)
