Primary Essential Pathway
Primary education and post-qualification experience requirements.
Education
Postgraduate degree in Agriculture, Horticulture, or a related subject from a university recognized by the Government.
Experience
Minimum 1 year of field-level work experience in agriculture and livestock-based livelihood activities after acquiring the prescribed educational qualification. Experience must be after obtaining the prescribed educational qualification.
Conditional Fallback Pathway
This pathway is stated as desirable if candidates meeting the primary educational qualification and experience requirements are not available.
Education
Graduate degree in Agriculture from a Government-recognized university. Applicable as a fallback if candidates satisfying the primary qualification and experience conditions are not available.(Desirable)
Experience
Two years of agriculture-related work experience at the rural level. Applicable with the fallback graduate Agriculture qualification when candidates meeting the primary requirements are not available.(Desirable)
Other Desirable Qualifications
Language
Ability to work in Hindi and English, along with knowledge of the local language.(Desirable)
Computer knowledge
Proficiency in computer and MS Office, including Hindi and English typing.(Desirable)
Skill
Experience of working in a rural environment and with the community.(Desirable)
Other
For field visits, the candidate should have a personal two-wheeler with all required documents.(Desirable)
General Eligibility Conditions
Age
- Age must be more than 21 years as on 1 January 2026.
- Age must be less than 45 years as on 1 January 2026.
Employment status
Applicants previously separated, removed, dismissed, or otherwise terminated from specified government, mission, CLF, or IFC service on grounds such as indiscipline, misconduct, voluntarily leaving service, or irregularity are not eligible. Providing incorrect information regarding previous service can result in cancellation of candidature.
Other
- The candidate must be a native resident of Chhattisgarh State / the district, as stated in the notification. The geographic scope of the residence clause is ambiguous in the rendered source wording.
- An applicant who married before attaining the legally prescribed minimum age for marriage is not eligible for appointment.
- A candidate who has married a person whose spouse is already living will not be eligible, subject to any exemption granted by the Government when sufficient reasons exist. The notification provides for possible Government exemption from this restriction.
