Senior Resident Gynaecology Eligibility
Education
MBBS degree from an MCI or NMC-recognized University or Institution
Age
Not exceeding 45 years as on the last day of submission of application Relaxable by five years for SC/ST, three years for OBC and ten years for PwD candidates. The notification does not separately identify the last application-submission date.
Exam qualification
Foreign medical graduates must submit FMGE or National Board of Examination screening examination score Applicable only to candidates who graduated from foreign universities.
Registration
Valid Delhi Medical Council registration
Medical fitness
Appointment is subject to medical fitness Appointment condition.
Gynaecology Pathways
The MBBS plus experience pathway may be considered only if adequate candidates with the postgraduate qualification are not available.
Education
Postgraduate Degree, DNB, Diploma or equivalent in Gynaecology from a recognized University or Institution Primary qualification pathway.
Experience
If adequate postgraduate-qualified candidates are unavailable, MBBS candidates with two years of experience, including one year in Gynaecology, may be considered Conditional alternative pathway requiring at least 12 months of the 24 months in the concerned specialty.
