Essential and Experience
Education
Postgraduate degree in Botany from a recognized University or Institution
Experience
Two years of research or teaching experience, preferably in Botany
Age
Not exceeding 35 years as on the date of interview Age relaxation for SC, ST and OBC candidates is as per Government of India rules.
Desirable Qualifications and Skills
Education
Higher qualification such as Ph.D. Preference will be given to candidates possessing higher qualifications such as Ph.D.(Preferred)
Experience
Previous research experience in a project funded by the Ministry of Ayush, ICMR, CSIR, DST or an equivalent organization Listed as a preference in the notification.(Preferred)
Computer knowledge
Working knowledge of computer applications(Desirable)
Skill
Skills in drafting and editing scientific documents, articles and technical reports(Desirable)
Academic record
Publication in peer-reviewed journals(Desirable)
Salary & benefits
₹42,000
per month
Admissible HRA is payable in addition to the monthly amount.

An online or offline written test will be conducted as the first stage of the selection process.

The written test will be followed by an interview. Candidates may attend physically at NIIMH or through online mode. Physical-mode candidates must report by 10:00 A.M. with all required original documents.

Eligibility notes
Applicants require a postgraduate degree in Botany from a recognized University or Institution and two years of research or teaching experience, preferably in Botany. The maximum age is 35 years as on the interview date, with age relaxation for SC, ST and OBC candidates according to Government of India rules.

Important notes
The engagement is purely contractual and co-terminus. The initial appointment is for six months, subject to candidate performance and project requirements. Tenure may be curtailed or extended at the discretion of the Competent Authority, NIIMH, Hyderabad. No claim for regular appointment will be entertained and no TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview.
