Eligibility

Common Apprenticeship Eligibility

Applies to every trade. Relevant ITI trade must match the selected training slot.

Education

Class 10 or equivalent under the 10+2 system from a recognized Board. (minimum 50%) At least 50% aggregate marks; no rounding off. Qualification must be held on application submission.
National Trade Certificate in the notified trade issued by NCVT or SCVT; ITI pass in the relevant trade. Must possess the qualification on application submission. Candidates awaiting final examination results must not apply.

Must have completed 15 years on 6 November 2026.as of 6 November 2026
Must not have completed 24 years on 6 November 2026, subject to notified relaxations. SC/ST: five years; OBC: three years; PwBD: ten years. Ex-Servicemen relaxation follows the detailed notified service conditions.as of 6 November 2026

Medical fitness

Produce the prescribed medical fitness certificate at Document Verification. Annexure-IV certificate must be signed by a Government-authorized Gazetted doctor of a Central/State Hospital, not below Assistant Surgeon rank. PwBD trade suitability and certificate conditions also apply.

Selection process

Merit list preparation
Simple average of matriculation and relevant ITI percentages. All matriculation subjects count; ITI marks are taken from the provisional/final certificate. Lists are prepared Division/Unit-wise, trade-wise and community-wise in descending merit, equal to the slots. No centralized merit list is formed.

Document Verification
Verification of original testimonials in the opted Division/Unit according to merit, trade and vacancy. Produce the online application printout and applicable reservation certificates. No daily, conveyance or travelling allowance is payable.

Medical fitness verification
Medical requirements apply in the opted Division/Unit. Produce an Annexure-IV medical fitness certificate at Document Verification, signed by the prescribed Government-authorized doctor.

Select one Unit after checking relevant ITI trade availability, enter accurate personal details and Aadhaar number, upload the specified photograph and signature, and pay if applicable. Selection summary

Merit is the simple average of matriculation and ITI percentages. All matriculation subjects are included; ITI marks are taken from the provisional/final certificate. Older candidates rank first in a marks tie; if dates of birth also match, earlier matriculation completion ranks first. Final lists equal to the slots are prepared by Division/Unit, trade and community. Original-document verification and medical requirements follow in the opted Division/Unit. No centralized merit list is formed.

Eligibility notes

Candidates must have completed 15 years and must not have completed 24 years on 6 November 2026, subject to the stated age relaxations. Required educational and technical qualifications must be held on the date of application submission. Candidates awaiting final examination results must not apply. Class 10 aggregate must be at least 50%, without rounding off. A National Trade Certificate issued by NCVT or SCVT in the notified trade is required.

Application instructions

Apply only at www.rrcjaipur.in from 7 October 2026 to 6 November 2026 at 23:59 hours. Choose only one Unit with training slots matching the relevant ITI trade. Enter the 12-digit Aadhaar number, personal details matching the matriculation certificate, an active mobile number and a valid email address. Upload the prescribed photograph and signature, verify all details, and pay the fee if applicable through the integrated payment gateway. No changes are permitted after payment/final submission. Retain the registration number, application printout and payment receipt. Do not send physical applications or certificates to RRC.

Important notes

Training slots are provisional. PwBD and Ex-Servicemen reservations are included in the total and must not be added to it. Training gives no right to Railway employment. Training period and stipend follow Railway Board rules and directives. No hostel accommodation is provided. A Contract of Apprenticeship is required before training, signed by the guardian for a minor. Multiple applications and canvassing lead to rejection/disqualification. No Division/Unit/Trade change is allowed after selection.
