Senior Manager Ports and Waterways Eligibility
Education
Full-time Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering and Master's Degree in Marine Engineering and Management, Ocean Structures or Engineering, Structural Engineering, or an equivalent, synonymous or similar qualification. (minimum 60%) The sole vacancy is Unreserved. The minimum qualification must be First Class or carry at least 60% marks for consideration against an Unreserved vacancy.
Experience
Minimum eight years of professional experience in Structural and Marine Engineering Design. At least five years must be relevant hands-on experience in design, analysis and detailing of marine and coastal structures including quay walls, jetties, dolphins, breakwaters, berthing structures, dry docks, slipways and ship lifts.
Age
Maximum age 38 years as on 8 October 2026. Age relaxation applies according to the notification.
Employment status
Candidates from Central or State Government, PSUs or Autonomous Organizations must satisfy the prescribed experience and pay-scale conditions. Candidates from private-sector or other organizations must have the prescribed eight years of experience and an annual CTC of at least Rs. 20.16 lakh as on the application closing date. Government or PSU candidates in IDA or CDA scales require eight years total experience and at least two years at Rs. 50,000 to Rs. 1,60,000 IDA or Level-9 CDA, subject to the detailed equivalence rules in the notification.
