Eligibility

Guest Lecturer

Minimum educational qualification as prescribed under the University Grants Commission Regulations, 2018 relating to minimum qualifications for appointment of teachers and other academic staff in universities and colleges and measures for maintenance of standards in higher education.

Guest Teaching Assistant

Postgraduate qualification with at least 55 percent marks. (minimum 55%)
For Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe and Persons with Disabilities candidates, at least 50 percent marks at postgraduate level. (minimum 50%) Relaxed postgraduate marks threshold for Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe and Persons with Disabilities candidates applying as Guest Teaching Assistant.

Maximum age is 65 years.

Salary & benefits

Guest Lecturer / Guest Teaching Assistant

₹2,000

per day

Guest Lecturer: Rs. 2,000 per working day, subject to a maximum of Rs. 50,000 per month.

₹1,400

per day

Guest Teaching Assistant: Rs. 1,400 per working day, subject to a maximum of Rs. 35,000 per month.
