- Eligibility may be met by holding an analogous post on a regular basis, by five years of regular service after appointment as Upper Division Clerk in Level-4, or by ten years of regular service after appointment as Lower Division Clerk in Level-2.

Overall Eligibility
The applicant must satisfy the eligible-officer condition, one qualifying service pathway, the computer proficiency requirement, and the age limit.
Age
Maximum age for appointment on deputation shall in no case exceed 56 years on the last date of submission of applications in TRAI.
Computer knowledge
Proficiency in computer use, including office applications.
Employment status
Officer of the Central Government or State Governments or Union Territory Administrations or autonomous body or statutory organisation or public sector undertaking or recognised university or recognised research institution.
Qualifying Service Pathway
Any one of the three prescribed regular-service pathways is acceptable.
Experience
Alternative 1 of 2. Five years of regular service rendered after appointment in the grade of Upper Division Clerk in Level-4, Rs. 25,500-81,100. Alternative qualifying service pathway.
Alternative 2 of 2. Ten years of regular service rendered after appointment in the grade of Lower Division Clerk in Level-2, Rs. 19,900-63,200. Alternative qualifying service pathway.
Employment status
Holding an analogous post on a regular basis in the parent cadre or department. Alternative qualifying service pathway.
Salary & benefits
₹35,400 - ₹1,12,400
per month
Plus other allowances such as DA and HRA as per Government rules.

Important notes
